Basic Information
- Expert Name: The name of the Expert, which can be customized to fit the persona.
- Description: A brief paragraph that describes the Expert from its perspective.
- My Organization: The organization the Expert represents.
- Age: An attribute that can be set to give the Expert a relatable identity.
- Job Title: The role the Expert plays, which helps shape its responses.
- Location: The geographical location associated with the Expert.
- Character Traits: Personality attributes that define the Expert’s behavior and interaction style.
Communication Style
- Response Type: Determines the nature of the Expert’s responses (e.g., detailed, concise).
- Target Audience: Specifies who the Expert is designed to interact with, ensuring responses are appropriate for the audience.
- Communication Style: Defines the tone and manner of the Expert’s interactions (e.g., formal, casual).
- Greeting: A personalized greeting that sets the tone for the interaction.
Customization Options
- Expert Picture: An image that represents the Expert, which can be uploaded or selected from provided options.
- Conversation Starters: Predefined questions that initiate common interactions, making the Expert more engaging.

Generating Responses

Customizing the Persona
To customize the persona of an Expert, follow these steps:
- In the left navigation menu, under Settings, click Experts.
- From the list of Experts, click the pencil icon next to the Expert you want to change.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Click on either the General or Conversation sub-tab to adjust the relevant settings.
General Sub-Tab
In the General sub-tab, you can change the following settings:
- Expert Picture: Change or upload a new picture for the Expert.
- Expert Name: Modify the name of the Expert.
- Description: Update the description from the Expert's perspective.
- Age: Set or change the age of the Expert.
- Location: Update the geographical location associated with the Expert.
- My Organization: Change the organization the Expert represents.
- Job Title: Update the job title of the Expert.
Conversation Sub-Tab
In the Conversation sub-tab, you can change the following settings:
- Greeting: Customize the personalized greeting.
- Response Type: Choose the nature of the Expert’s responses (e.g., detailed, concise).
- Communication Style: Define the tone and manner of the Expert’s interactions (e.g., formal, casual).
- Character Traits: Update the personality attributes of the Expert.
- Target Audience: Specify the audience the Expert is designed to interact with.
- Citations: Enable or disable showing answer sources if available.
