Passwords are a crucial aspect of maintaining the security and integrity of your EveryAnswer account. This document will guide you through the processes of creating, changing, and managing your password effectively.
Setting Up Your Password
When you create your EveryAnswer account, you will be invited to set up a password. This password protects your account and ensures only authorized users can access your data.
Password Requirements
Your password must meet the following criteria to ensure it is strong and secure:
- One lowercase character
- One number
- One uppercase character
- One symbol
- 8 characters minimum
Changing Your Password
You can change your password at any time through your profile settings. Follow these steps:
- Log in to your EveryAnswer account.
- Navigate to your Profile section.
- Click on Change Password.
- Enter your current password in the appropriate field.
- Enter your new password, ensuring it meets the requirements listed above.
- Confirm your new password by entering it again.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Requesting a Password Change
If you forget your password or need to change it for any reason without logging into your account, you can request a password change:
- Go to the EveryAnswer login page.
- Click on Forgot Password.
- Enter the email address associated with your EveryAnswer account.
- Click Submit.
- Check your email for a password reset link and follow the instructions provided.
Admin-Initiated Password Reset
Admins have the ability to initiate a password reset for any user. This is useful if a user cannot access their email or forgot their password. To do this:
- Log in to your admin account on EveryAnswer.
- Go to the Admin Dashboard.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Find and select the user who needs the password reset.
- Click on Send Password Reset Email.
The user will receive an email with instructions to reset their password.
