Frequently Asked Questions

How is billing handled at EveryAnswer?
Billing at EveryAnswer is conducted on a monthly cycle, with charges occurring on the first of each month. If you start a subscription after the 1st, the initial bill is prorated to reflect only the portion of the month remaining from your subscription start date. This ensures you only pay for the time you've had access to the service.
Are there long-term subscription options available?
EveryAnswer exclusively offers monthly subscription plans. There are no annual or other long-term commitments. All subscriptions automatically renew on the first of each month. To avoid charges for the next month, ensure you cancel before the monthly renewal date.
What happens if I upgrade my subscription plan?
Upgrading your plan is seamless and can be done at any time. When you upgrade, billing is adjusted in real-time, prorated to the millisecond from the point of upgrade until the end of the current month. This prorated amount for the upgraded plan is added to your next bill on the 1st. From the following month, you will be billed the full amount for the new plan.
Can I downgrade my subscription plan?
Downgrading your subscription is also a straightforward process. Upon downgrading, you will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your higher-tier plan. This refund is applied against any new charges resulting from the downgrade. If the refund exceeds the new charges, the remaining credit is retained in your account for future billing cycles.
How are overage charges managed?
If your usage exceeds the limits of your subscription plan, overage charges are incurred. These charges are billed on the 1st of the following month. This policy applies to active subscriptions and any overages that occur up to the cancellation date of a subscription.
What is the policy for cancelling a subscription?
If you decide to cancel your subscription, it's important to note that there are no refunds for the remaining days in the current billing cycle. Your subscription will remain active and fully accessible until the end of the current billing period, which concludes at the end of the month in which you cancel.
What payment methods does EveryAnswer accept?
Currently, EveryAnswer accepts only credit card payments. This includes all major credit cards. You can easily manage your payment methods through the admin portal, including adding a backup payment method.
Are there any setup fees or hidden charges?
EveryAnswer prides itself on transparency in billing. There are no setup fees to begin using our services. However, you should be aware of potential additional fees, which may be incurred if your usage exceeds the allotted conversation or storage limits set by your chosen plan.
What happens to unused data or conversations at the end of the billing cycle?
Unused data or conversations do not roll over to the next billing cycle. Each Expert operates under its own plan, and the usage limits reset at the beginning of each billing period.
Is there a limit on the number of users per team?
While there is no limit on the number of users who can access your EveryAnswer team account, your subscription is subject to conversation limits. These limits depend on your chosen plan and are reset at the start of each billing cycle. If you exceed your conversation limit your Expert will continue to function, you will simply be charged for each conversation past the limit.
How is extra storage billed?
Should you exceed the storage limits of your plan, additional charges will be applied. As you approach your storage limit, you will receive a warning email, allowing you to either manage your storage usage or prepare for the additional billing. This approach ensures that you're always informed and in control of your usage and expenses.
Where can I find detailed usage reports and invoices?
Detailed usage reports and invoices are easily accessible through the EveryAnswer web interface. These documents provide a comprehensive overview of your usage, charges, and any adjustments made during the billing cycle. This transparency allows for better budgeting and understanding of how your team uses EveryAnswer.
Can I adjust my plan myself?
Yes, you have the flexibility to adjust your plan at any moment through the admin portal. This self-service feature allows for immediate changes to your subscription, whether it's an upgrade, downgrade, or plan modification, ensuring that your plan always aligns with your current needs.
What happens if my payment fails?
In the event of a payment failure, all administrators with billing roles on your account will be notified. The system will then attempt to charge a backup payment method if set up. If payment continues to fail, we attempt to charge the card daily for up to 7 days. If payment is not received after this period, your Expert's functionality will be suspended until payment is resolved.
Are there any special offers or promo codes available?
